What we do with your information.

Who we are
Forged Commerce operates this website at https://forgedcommerce.com. You can reach us at [email protected]. We work with merchants and agencies in these markets: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
What this covers
This policy covers this website. Work on a client's Shopify store, including personal information about that store's customers, is covered by the statement of work for that engagement.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter:
- Name
- Company
- Email address
- Website, if you provide one
- Monthly revenue
- Shopify plan
- Services you are asking about
- Budget
- Timeline
- Description of what you are trying to solve
The description can include any extra detail you choose to add. The form does not ask for payment details or account credentials.
You can also email [email protected] directly. That message does not go through the contact form.
Whoever hosts the website keeps technical logs of requests. Those logs can include an IP address, the browser user agent, and the URL requested. The contact route does not read those values and does not add them to the enquiry.
Why we use it
We use an enquiry to read it, reply, decide whether the work is a fit, and carry out an engagement if one is agreed.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who receives it
The contact form posts the details you entered to this website's own contact route at /api/contact.
If a webhook address is configured, that route sends the enquiry onward as JSON. If no webhook address is configured, the route writes the enquiry to the server log.
Email sent to [email protected] arrives at that mailbox. The host of the website keeps its own request logs.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information until we no longer need it. There is no fixed deletion period.
Anyone can ask us to delete what we hold about them at any time by emailing [email protected].
Countries
We work with people in these markets: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Hosting the website, and sending an enquiry on through a webhook, can process that information outside the country it was sent from.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also complain to us about how we have handled it. Email [email protected]. We respond within 20 working days.
You can also complain to a regulator:
- United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
- Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
- New Zealand: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
If you live in California, you have the right to know, correct, and delete personal information we hold about you. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context advertising unless you choose the advertising option described under Cookies and analytics.
Children
This website is aimed at merchants and agencies. It is not directed at children.
